Text Engine teamed with Yahoo! to create the Yahoo! Contributor Network Academy, the world’s first free online academy for Web writers. Text Engine worked with writers and designers at Yahoo! to place the training topics in an instructional design framework, write compelling quizzes, and produce the finished courses.     Text Engine signed on with director Ringo Lê as associate producer for the film “Big Gay Love.” Jonathan Lisecki ("Gayby") stars in this unconventional Hollywood romantic comedy formula as Bob, a successful but insecure party planner who searches for love on his own terms in body image–obsessed Los Angeles. Enter Andy (Nicholas Brendon of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), a successful chef/restaurateur. Will Bob overcome his body issues to find his Big Gay Love?
For a banking client, in partnership with Allen Interactions, Text Engine developed e-learning that helps new employees gain experience with customer interactions while learning basic banking skills.
Text Engine teamed with several partners, including a county government, to help small businesses operate in a more ecological way; the successful classroom and web-based training program combined regulatory learning with tips on industrial-waste handling.
Text Engine worked with the volunteer organization The Friends of the Seaside Library to craft a website that supports the local library in Seaside, California. The website posts regular newsletters to help build online community as well as local participation.
